Kim Skellington
President
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Master’s in Genetic Counseling. Eager to serve patients in reproductive healthcare, I began my career as a clinical prenatal genetic counselor. Building on this foundational understanding of the clinic and prenatal setting, I then set out to gain experience working for a laboratory, counseling on preimplantation genetic testing.
The challenge of navigating the complex genetic testing landscape became apparent not only for patients but providers across these experiences. My goal is to empower patients to make decisions that best align with their values through proper informed consent and to create resources for providers to confidently support their patients through the organization, Modern Reproduction, www.modernreproduction.org.
